Upon moving her CD collection for the first time in 3 years KVD realised she hadn't played any CD in 2 of those years. Everything in music is about what's now and newer...New is good but what can we discover when we look at what's already been? BackTapes is a blog with a goal to listen to one CD from the KVD collection everyday for a year and rediscover a record collection from a life mostly forgotten.
